Welcome to Ickworth Park Primary School. We are based in the small village of Horringer, a few miles from the beautiful market town of Bury St Edmunds in the lovely county of Suffolk. Just across the road from our school is the beautiful Ickworth Park with the elegant and impressive Ickworth House at its centre. The house is a stunning architectural oddity with its huge central rotunda and fabulous italianate gardens.

The early years of education are a very important time for learning and development for your child. We place great importance on your child’s development in essential skills of reading, writing, numeracy and investigating through their learning journey. We have a wide range of after school activities which will be available at various times. In the past year these have included Multi Skills, Art club, Science, French and more.

Our Breakfast Club receives the pupils at 8.00am and is very popular. In September 2010 we started an After School Club which is proving to be in great demand. Pupils can stay at the club until 5.45pm. The club leaders offer a wide range of activities for the pupils and snacks are provided.

Our school is a happy, caring school where your child will be warmly received and where their talents and achievements will be celebrated by the school community and shared with you as we work in partnership to achieve the expectations we have of the youngsters in our care.
